# Install the MoraWP Plugin

> Add the plugin to the WordPress website you want MoraWP to work with.

Website connections begin inside WordPress. You do not add a website by typing
its address into the MoraWP Dashboard.

## Before you begin

You need administrator access to the WordPress website and the MoraWP Plugin ZIP
available from the **Add a website** guide in your Dashboard.

## Install the ZIP

### Open the plugin installer

In WordPress, go to **Plugins → Add New Plugin**, then choose **Upload Plugin**.

### Upload and activate

Select the MoraWP Plugin ZIP, choose **Install Now**, then **Activate Plugin**.

### Open MoraWP

Open the MoraWP page in WordPress. The plugin is ready to start a secure
connection with your workspace.
